Summer Day Camp


ACP SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

Come join us for a summer of fun!  ACP is offering 7 weeks of Summer Day Camp this summer for children between the ages of 2 by Aug 31, 2010) through 1st grade graduates.   Our teachers are hard at work planning exciting summer for your children  We are going to continue our theme based day camp as we did last summer.

Our Summer 2011 Themes are:

June 20-23          Wacky Week

June 27-30          Hooray for the Red, White and Blue

July 4-7                 CLOSED

July 11-14            Crazy About Science 2      

July 18-21            Fun in the Sun

July 25-28            Fiesta Mucho Gusto

One new change starting this year is we will not be open the week of July 4th.  Attendance has always been low that week and it is difficult to staff.  So we will have 4 weeks in June and 3 weeks in July of Summer Day Camp fun.

Children between the ages of 2 (by August 31, 2010) through 1st grade graduates are able to join us for 2 days (M/W or T/Th) or all 4 days (M-Th) from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.  There is a registration fee of $10 for each child.  The tuition for each week of camp is $74/week for 2-days/week and $148/week for 4-days/week.  There is a 10% Sibling Discount for your second (and each additional) child.

Your children will participate in indoor and outdoor activities throughout the week including science experiences, large group music time, art projects and story time.  In addition, a healthy theme related snack will be provided each day.  Children will also have a time in which to eat their home provided lunch. 

 Classes will be formed based on the number of sign-ups we receive.  We are filling classes with our current preschool families now and will start taking registrations for new families starting April 18th (on a space available basis).   For budget planning purposes, classes will be staffed according to number of children signed up by May 14, 2010.  Once classes are formed and staffing is determined, additional spaces may be limited - so sign-up early!

 There is a registration fee of $10 for each child.  The tuition for each week of camp is $72/week for a 2-days/week and $144/week for 4-days/week.  There is a 10% Sibling Discount for your second (and each additional) child. 

 To register, please complete the attached registration form and calendar, checking the appropriate boxes for the weeks you would like your child to attend in June and July.  The tuition dollar amount is noted at the top of each box on the calendar.  Please write the appropriate amount for tuition in the total column.  The sum of the June total column is the amount you will need to pay at the time of registration.  You will need to fill out one calendar for EACH child attending Summer Camp. If you are registering more than one child, use the sibling discount rate for tuition for the second (and each additional) child. 

 Please note that tuition for the first four weeks of summer school (June weeks) is due at the time of registration.  At the beginning of June, you will receive a bill for the weeks in July for which you have registered your child.  Payment for July’s tuition will be due by June 15th in order to confirm you child’s spot(s).

 Once the registration process is complete on May 13, 2011 you may add additional single day(s) at any time by calling the office to see if there is space available.  The single day tuition rate is $37 and is due no later than when you arrive on the day your child attends.

 We are unable to provide refunds for non-attendance.  If your child misses a day he/she is signed up for due to illness or a change in plans, please call the office to determine if there is availability in a class later in the summer.  If a slot is available, your child will have an opportunity to do a make-up day. 

Registration Instructions:

Please complete the following steps:

1. Fill out the summer registration form completely and sign at the bottom.

2. Fill out the the summer calendar sign-up form, one per child Please use the instructions below to fill out the form).

3. Include a payment of the $10 per child registration fee and return to the ACP office with the registration form and calendar sign-up form.  Please make a copy for your records, or note the tuition amount due by May 15th before returning to ACP.

4. Include now, or drop off/mail June camp tuition payment no later than May 15, 2011 to secure your child's spot in camp.  Payments received after May 15th may not guarantee your child's space in camp.


To fill out the calendar sign-up form:

Please check the boxes for the days/weeks you want your child to attend summer day camp.  Then, write the dollar amount for that weeks tuition in the Total Box to the right of each week's selection.  (The weekly tuition dollar amount is noted at the top of each day box on the calendar.)  Add up the total column for June dates and put it in the box at the bottom of that section.  Than add up the total column for the July dates and put it in the box at the bottom of the July section.  If you are registering more than one child, use the sibling discount rate for tuition for the second (and each additional) child.

Please note that tuition for the first four weeks of summer school (June weeks) is due May 15th.  You will not receive a separate invoice for this amount, so please make a copy of the form or note the amount due before returning the form to ACP.

You will receive an invoice at the beginning of June for the weeks in July that you have registered your child.  Payment for July's tuition will be due by June 15th in order to guarantee your child's spot(s).
